“BIOGRAPHY”
Kendrick "Ken-C" Cole Born on July 1984 in Chicago,IL but quickly moved to Milwaukee,WI where Hip Hop found him early on from music videos, magazines, & rap ciphers in the neighborhood which gave him the inspiration to write rhymes. His teen years was rough in Milwaukee from the household to the streets and moved in with his father in St.Paul,MN in late '98 where he began to really find himself within the music throughout his high school years. From recording local tapes, learning music programs, linking up with other inspiring artists soaking up everything about the art and slowly made a name for himself in Central Minnesota
In 2006 he had his first son and took a setback from music which forced him to move to Fargo,ND where he began to raise his child. Early 2009 he joined an independent label SkoolBoy Entertainment from Twin Cities,MN and got back to creating music full time. From there he has put out countless of songs online building a buzz in North Dakota which he got to open for Macklemore, Cappadonna, Skee-Lo and other local favorites artists from ND
He eventually moved back to the Twin Cities in 2011 and started building the brand SkoolBoy Entertainment with the help of other artists on the label and toured all over the US in various cities while still consistently putting out bodies of work online. From opening up for TI, 50 Cent, Freddie Gibbs, Twista, Bone Thugs N Harmony and many others while also building his own company Kentageous Productions. Today he is regionally known as one of the coldest emcees in the Midwest but SOON the world will know the name “Kentageous”
